In this guide, we will show you:
- How to allow access to a known safe website.
- How to exclude a web address from being checked in Web Access Protection.
Excluding a website poses a security risk, but if a website is being blocked by Web Access Protection, and you are 100% certain that it is harmless, you can access it by following the steps below.
STEP 1:
In the main program window, press the F5 key, which opens the Advanced setup window.

there is also another way to open the Advanced setup window.
In the main program window, click on the Setup option.

In the setup menu, click on the Advanced setup option.

STEP 2:
Click on the WEB AND EMAIL option.

Click on the Web access protection option.

Click on the URL ADDRESS MANAGEMENT option.

And then click on the Edit option.

STEP 3:
Select List of addresses excluded from content scan, then click the Edit button.


STEP 4:
in the new window, click on the Add button.

STEP 5:
Type the website or domain you want to exclude in the field. for each website you add, be sure to either include “www.” or a wildcard “*” symbol, as in “www.ieseti.com” or “ieseti.com”.and then click the OK button.


then click on the OK button.

STEP 6:
once you are back in the advanced setup window, click the OK button.
